Vegas Cola, a singer-songwriter and entertainer, has been one of New Orleans quietest kept secrets for almost 20 years. Captivating musicians and audiences alike, she is now stepping out from the background of countless collaborations with some of New Orleans greatest musicians to shine on her own.

Singing along to Deniece Williams, Whitney Houston and Shirley Murdock, records in her mother’s living room sparked her desire to sing. She later participated in talent shows and choirs throughout grammar and high school. After being seen as a finalist in a Motown talent search, Vegas, still in high school, began her career singing with The Raymond Anthony Miles Singers (R.A.M.S.). She went on to the University of New Orleans where she studied vocal education and English, refining her talents and developing her songwriting. She lends her vocals and songwriting skills as a guest on at least 15 albums and has performed with several local musicians including: Dave

Now eager to branch out and showcase her abilities, she can be seen singing around town in New Orleans premium music venues. Her style can be described as sexy, urban and unconventional. Vegas Cola successfully crosses over many genres of music from R&B, jazz, opera to funk.

"Everyday is a song,” she says, “there is always something to write about.” She receives inspiration to write poetry and songs from her life experiences. She can make any day a beautiful melody as well as a catchy song. After long anticipation, many are ready to hear the words and sounds of Vegas Cola.

This fall, Vegas Cola will be releasing “The Love, Life & BS," her first solo EP, which is comprised of all original music.
