New Orleans, LA (WTDN) - High School seniors at De La Salle High School celebrated the completion of their high school career with a drive-up graduation celebration.

The students dressed in their cap and gown and drove to the school with their families in decorated cars and made a loop around campus. Once each car made it to the front of the school on St Charles Ave., the seniors received their actual diplomas from the principal and took official photos.

The school's faculty and staff were also in cap and gown and lined up around the building with signs to cheer on the students.

The school also created a virtual graduation video which was sent out to all families Tuesday.

They are planning to hold a formal graduation ceremony this summer, based on what health officials permit.
